SHIPPING & DELIVERY
At Gustobee.com, All orders greater than Rs.499, the shipping would be free. For order less than Rs.499, we would be charging a nominal shipping fee of Rs.50/-. We deliver to anywhere within India.
Gustobee.com has partnered with Courier companies of repute. We use safe and secure shipping services offered by our service providers which can be tracked from the time it is shipped till reaches the destination. For those addresses and pin codes that are not serviced by Couriers, we use the India Post services.
Dispatch Schedules and Timelines:
1-2 working days: Books that are in stock in our warehouse.
3-5 working days: Books that are in stock with our local distributors
7-9 working days: Procurement from Publisher Warehouse (Domestic, India)
14-21 working days: Procurement of Imported Editions (International, USA/UK)
Pre-order items are future releases. We pre-book your order in order to service you first as soon as we get the stocks. These orders are processed at our end on the same day of receipt of stock from our vendors. Once shipped out, you will receive the dispatch information on your registered email address from our customer support.
About Undeliverable Packages
Sometimes it does happen that our shipping partners are unable to deliver the package as they are unable to trace the address and the registered contact details are non responsive, we get intimation before the same is returned to us. In such cases we immediately inform you in case you have any additional information that can facilitate delivery. Once we receive the same, we will then pass this to our shipping partner to re-attempt delivery. If for some reason we do not get any response within 24 hours of we communicating to you, the package will be returned back to us. We will then initiate full refund (Including shipping fee in case if we have charged it).
Once the package is returned to us, the same cannot be re-shipped. You can however, place another order on our website.
In the unlikely event of you not receiving your order even after 2 weeks from the date of dispatch and also not received any communication what so ever, please get in touch with us with your order-ID.
Why are not able to deliver your package?
Some of the typical reasons that are deemed undeliverable are as follows;
Incorrect address: If the address is incorrect along with your registered contact details non responsive, our shipping partners’ are unable to complete delivery. These packages are first flagged to us and we in turn communicate the same to you. In case we get a response from you , we will pass it on to our shipping partner to re-attempt delivery otherwise we instruct them to return it back to us.
Damaged /Lost in transit: In case the package is damaged/ lost during transit, our shipping partners’ will inform us. We will however, send another copy as soon as we get to know about it. We are sorry, but there could be a slight delay on delivery.
Refused by the recipient: If for some reasons, the package was attempted delivery and the recipient has refused the package, we are informed by our shipping partner about the same. We in turn communicate the same to you and wait for your response to take suitable action.
